A brilliant, hugely absorbing, if at times rather horrific film. The cast is without exception great and the cinematography is beautifully atmospheric. Tho why every film/series maker insists on showing Scandinavia as sombre and washed-out is beyond me.
Daniel Craig is fantastic as Blomkvist, the main, but Rooney Mara is just exceptional as the troubled Lisbeth and totally steals the show. Mara and Craig have surprisingly good chemistry together and when the inevitable does happen its more than believable.
The 2 and half hours flew by!
