Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) by Wendy P — 20 Feb 2013

I'm a big fan of the book so was dubious if this film would be another "da vinci code" and be ruined in the translation! I found it so much better than the first version of the story. the two leads are spot on,Rooney Mara is without fault as Salander! in my opinion,the only flaw in the film is the story change thrown in in the final quarter.

..it would have been better to stay true to the book here! nevertheless I thoroughly enjoyed this film and it has proved that a film can be made of a fabulous book without letting the author down.....hopefully the makers of the next Dan Brown book will watch this film forensically to pick up tips how to carry a best seller to the silver screen.
