Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) by Michael K — 19 Sep 2013
I'm adamantly against American studios making a quick buck on recent foreign movies for American audiences because they think audiences are too stupid to see the original. I enjoyed the original Girl movie series but have to say that I enjoyed this more.
Fincher's aesthetic helped create a mood, which was there in the original, but it is more solemn now and it really made me like this. Maybe everything works better for me personally because of Trent Reznor's score.
