Director David Fincher does an excellent job with this American adaptation of the Swedish novel. Featuring one of the most intriguing characters in all of cinema and literature, this film shows us the dark sides of human behavior.
Rooney Mara does a brilliant job playing Lisbeth Salander, with Daniel Craig bringing up the rear with a typical strong performance in the lead role. It's never going to match the original Swedish film trilogy but it clearly does the late-author respect.
