Review of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (2011) by Aaron C — 25 May 2014

David Fincher delivers one of the greatest achievements in cinema. It's truly a rock and roll in your face film noir thriller. The performances by Daniel Craig,Rooney Mara,Christopher Plummer,Stellan Skarsgard are amazing.

The music by trent reznor, Atticus Ross is electrifying. The photography by Jeff cronenweth on the Red Epic 5K is beautiful . The script by Steven Zatlin is great. It's based on the best selling novel by steig larsson.

And of course the amazing direction by David Fincher. His work ethic is so meticulous. They way he collaborates with the writer. The way he storyboards every film. They way he uses light to set a mood to the story is amazing.

In literature the writer is the author. In Cinema the Director is the author. There is no great films. There is only great directors.
