Review of The Girl with All the Gifts (2016) by Sam W — 25 Sep 2016
A different kind of zombie film that ends up being a bit too unconventional for its own good. The start has a mysterious setting and build up before quickly descending into buckets of traditional zombie gore and violence and ends up promoting the right to survive and maternal instincts themes.
The acting is ok, and the use of music and city-wide transformation adds to the desolate atmosphere, but some of the scenes are far too predictable.
