Review of The Girl with All the Gifts (2016) by Elton G — 26 Feb 2017

It seems the UK always does a good job when it comes to Zombie films and this feels like a torch bearer for the "28 days later" franchise. The "zombies" are quite well thought out for once and the fungus may make more sense than the vurrently popular virus angle.

The world-building is solid and the lead actor does a great job with a complicated role. It's quite chilling in places and makes the children the scariest factors. The ending is surpisingly intelligent and a welcome change of pace.

Definitely worth a look for anyone growing tired of the Walking Dead who would like a complete story told within 2 hours.
