Review of The Girl Next Door (2004) by Yae Y — 13 Nov 2010
Pretty much a modernised "Risky Business". Emile Hirsch and Elisha Cuthbert are what makes this movie so cute. You almost forget that it's about the girl next door being a porn star. This is definitely one of my favourite comedies, because it's genuinely sweet at times and the hilarious parts are funny because they don't rely completely on all that gross-out humour.
The opening montage to "Under Pressure" is great. "The Girl Next Door" soundtrack is one of my favourites.
