Admittedly, I didn't have the loftiest of expectations when entering The Gift-I mean, c'mon, a Jason Bateman-led thriller?-but I left knowing I'd seen enough knee-buckling suspense and hysteria to keep any filmgoer engaged.
As Gordo, Joel Edgerton is a sinister, frightening villain.
