Review of The Gift (2015) by Matt H — 04 Nov 2015
Solid genre fare, well paced and written. Jason Bateman plays a great asshole, and Joel Edgerton as Gordo is a slightly tragic character. I like how Bateman kind of turns into the real villain. Nice to see a good actor/writer/director debut, seems like its been awhile since there was a good effort from an actor with all three.
