Review of The Gift (2015) by Nathan M — 04 Dec 2015
A fun, creepy psychological thriller that isn't really horror, but is easily one of the most tense films I've seen. Bonus points the slant on both bullying and the persistence of bad human behavior, as well as the overall themes of the futility of entirely abandoning who you once were.
Also gets incredibly dark in the last fifteen minutes in what is otherwise a fairly tame film. You've been warned.
