Joel Edgerton does a remarkable job in his debut writer-director effort. It's an expertly-written and paced piece, with Jason Bateman playing (of course) an asshole. This script would work remarkably well as a theatrical piece, though it's a shame that the people who should watch this aren't the types of people to watch movies like this.
