Review of The Gift (2015) by Neil R — 03 Apr 2016
Jason Bateman, such an easygoing nice guy in Juno and Arrested Development, is a progressively dislikeable main character in this deeply absorbing and unpredictable three-hander. Joel Edgerton has done a brilliant job directing and starring in this as the unnerving and persistent stalker, Gordo.
Rebecca Hall does the job just fine, but for me was the weakest of the three. Superb movie.
