Review of The Gift (2015) by Alotko — 06 Sep 2015
Walking into the theater we expected a good movie. Walking out it felt like we had seen a great one. A well crafted and directed psychological thriller with some Hitchcock like surprises, excellent acting by all of the leads and a plot so carefully developed and executed that it felt like a ride on an emotional roller coaster.
If Joel Edgerton maintains this standard into the future the movies will have another Alfred Hitchcock.
