Review of The Gift (2015) by Late R — 17 Aug 2017
Brilliantly executed thriller that challenges your perception of what is going on in a number of smart ways. The whole cast did a great job, but Joel Edgerton -- who not only wrote the movie, but also had it serve as his directorial debut -- puts in a particularly creepy performance that manages to emanate off the screen in a big way.
Stylish and tense, definitely one to watch.
