Review of The Gift (2000) by Alexander P — 12 Aug 2010
Quite a watchable thriller from Sam Raimi, involving ESP. Enough twists and turns in the plot, though I guess the identity of the culprit was quite obvious to me. What works is a really good cast of Cate Blanchett, Greg Kinner, Hilary Swank, Giovanni Ribsi.
Keanu Reeves does quite well in a role going against his usual suave image.
