Review of The Gift (2000) by Patric C — 15 Oct 2011
Blanchett's accent aside, The Gift is a decent mystery thriller with a bit of supernatural horror mixed in. Well acted all around, and with some pretty scary moments, but at times it seems a little too generic, for example a by the books ending, and never tries to really capitalize on the scares.
