The Giant Mechanical Man brings a comforting and interesting romantic tale that has been seen time and time again, but works in many ways with the great direction of Lee Kirk. What sets it back so far? Jenna Fischer's acting is thinner than rice paper.
She doesn't portray nearly any emotion in any way towards what is happening around her, and she really does break the illusion that she isn't an actor.
