Review of The Giant Claw (1957) by Allan C — 09 Nov 2018
Entertainingly awful low-budget sci-fi film about a giant monstrous bird terrorizing the skies over the North Pole, Canada, and eventually NYC atop the Empire State Building and U.N. The film starts out halfway decent, with a mystery about disappearing planes, but once the the ridiculous looking giant bird puppet shows up, any semblance of a serious film is out the window.
The one is strictly for connoisseurs of bad cinema, which I count myself among and did find myself enjoying this film's awfulness on an ironic level.
