Review of The Giant Claw (1957) by David C — 24 May 2011
It's much better than most people give credit for it. The bird itself may look a little odd looking (this was 1950s, people, NOT 2000s...what do you expect it to look like?), but it was every bit as fearsome as its massive size.
I saw this film on YouTube recently and it was quite terrifying, to say the least...especially before the bird makes its first on-screen appearance and we see brief, blurry glimpses of it.
