Review of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir (1947) by Alice P — 27 Nov 2010
Pleasant enough at times, with fun performances from Harrison and Sanders, the film as a whole fails to really resonate on a romantic or relational level. Tierney is beautiful, as usual, but fails to connect or really carry the movie as the lead.
And this movie illustrates well the difficulty of pulling off afterlife movies, as the plot turns pretty hokey by the end.
