The Getaway is a great action movie. And I don't want to like it. It's a bit mean spirited in places, and fairly gritty (considering the time it was made). But, I just can't help but enjoy it.
Steve McQueen was a great actor. While not for all tastes, The Getaway might be one of the greatest crime pictues ever made.
