Review of The Getaway (1972) by Brook B — 31 Mar 2007
Decent, but not spectacular. Nice to see movies from the pre-SW era. Low key direction gives it a nice gritty feel. Some terrible plot holes, bad acting from Ali weight it down. Steve's star power is out in full effect though.
I quite liked the Jim Croce looking criminal, too. And Sally Struthers' character was plenty weird enough.
