A fantastic classic movie, probably one of sam peckinpah's best. steve mcqueen and ali macgraw are great together and had great chemistry on (and off) screen. my favorite character was probably al lettieri's character, being so bad ass and intriguing, michael madsen didn't really do him any justice in the remake.
the only thing that was improved upon for the remake is kim basinger is far sexier than ali macgraw, that's it.
