Review of The Getaway (1972) by Scott C — 09 Aug 2010
For me this was just a routine thriller elevated by the fact that you're watching a true screen legend in the form of Steve Mcqueen. The plot of a ex-con rand his wife on the run from a job gone wrong is Ok but I failed to really engage witht he characters so ultimately while interested I didn't really care about their fate.
