Review of The Gene Generation (2007) by John T — 22 Aug 2013
This looked a lot better than I thought it would. I thought it would be a cheap indie sci-fi. However, the cinematography was awesome. There was a lot of cg, but the cg looked really good.
It's about people in the future who are able to modify people's dna and turn them into mutant like creatures, but also cure diseases ext. Assassins are sent to kill people who restructure others' dna (dna hackers). It's pretty cool. They have a whole class system and all. Very awesome futuristic-shithole scenarios. The girl is a bad ass. The acting isn't great, but it could be worse.
The end wasn't great. It was a bit on the weak side, but up until then I really enjoyed the movie.
Cyber-punk..
