Review of The Gauntlet (1977) by Dustin G — 30 Mar 2011
The over-the-top ending detracts from what was a pretty thrilling movie. Eastwood is never better than he is here as a wisecracking, alky cop designated on a death assignment escorting a prostitute who is a witness against the mob.
Eastwood and Locke have great chemistry and it's no surprise they continued to do movies.
