Review of The Gate (1987) by Gregory T — 09 Aug 2007
The Gate is a well-balanced film which swings between the lazy-sunday milieu of summer vacation and the real terror of "the gate", thanks to the film's awesome pre-digital effects. Heavy metal lyrics help two young nerds raise demons from a hole in the back yard.
Too bad mom and dad are on vacation! Check the dank depressing rat-cage of a sequel too.
