Review of The Gate (1987) by Ryanaldo B — 17 Mar 2012
An awesome underrated horror movie from the 80s starring a young scrappy Stephen Dorff. This is a great movie that moves along at a nice pace. Some good scares, likeable cast and humour. The special effects and creature effects are pretty cool while a little laughable, but it doesn't detract from how awesome this movie is.
They are apparently going to remake this movie... not a completely bad idea... but hopefully they keep the spirit of the original.
