Review of The Game Plan (2007) by Paridise N — 31 Dec 2012
I really shouldn't mark The Game Plan too harshly. I mean, I knew what I was in for the moment I saw the preview for the movie. And I basically got exactly what I anticipated from this movie - another solid, enjoyable performance by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (yes, I'm a fan) and a slightly annoying yet commendable performance from Madison Pettis as The Rock's 8-year old daughter, who decides to drop in on The Rock and his multi-million dollar lifestyle unexpectedly despite The Rock not knowing she existed (don't ask questions, just go along with it).
The Game Plan tells a predictable Disney tale, and it's certainly not for everyone. Just don't expect great things if you decide to watch it.
