Review of The Game (1997) by Jared S — 08 Oct 2010
It's strange watching this movie again after not having seen it for over a decade. You forget how carefully orchestrated and measured the film is. Its pacing almost reflects favourably on the ordered and metronomic life of Van Orton.
I like to think of this movie as a bastardised son of Wall Street - the 'game' is what Gordon Gecko would play if he ever got bored of insider trading. Great soundtrack.
