Review of The Game (1997) by Habibiehakim — 08 Dec 2021
Roger Ebert once wrote a review for a movie North, and he wrote "I hated this movie. Hated hated hated hated hated this movie" and that's exactly what my reaction to David Fincher's The Game, 2 hours and 8 minutes movie opens with a powerful scene then the movie continue to Michael Douglas got a message that get him into his brother's game and it turn out to be not what he's expecting, gunshot, slam, punching, hiding, wrecking, running, screaming, it's a hell of an intense experience, towards the end everything was reveal, and it's really, for me, The Stupidest And Dumbest Plot Twist In Movie I've Ever Watch, it's an insult, me as an audience watching the whole goddamn thing just for that, The Game was a waste of an amazing and terrific performance by all the cast, great and intense build up for the most stupid conclusions ever.
