Review of The Game (1997) by Coop L — 24 Apr 2018
Not the best work to come from one of my personally favorite contemporary autuers, David Fincher. The Game plays out as the sly and gritty thriller that I I can trust Fincher to dish out. The film has a perfect, almost classic sense in angles and lighting.
The shadows play a part in Fincher films. A great performance by Douglas, as he portrays a man spiraling into oblivion. Supreme from opening to closing.
