Review of The Gallows (2015) by Brandon M — 19 Jul 2015
The narrative, script, and characters lack polish and pizzazz, and there is a ridiculously large focus on jump-scares in the first half of the film. However, the movie really did satisfy me with some seriously scary moments throughout the last half, very eerie visuals, a super freaky villain with an even freakier method of killing off victims, and a unique location that really added to the atmosphere.
