Review of The Gallows (2015) by Real H — 23 Jul 2015
Charlie Charlie, ok this film wasn't as bad as some critics describe it, i'm sure that i've seen worse things, it's just another found footage film to add on the list, it is effective when it wants to scare and keep the audience with voltage, but the movie falls easily into the cliche, has poor performances.
... I will not say that all but not very well acted and that makes lose his sense and the only thing that causes is to make the audience laugh, the idea is quite original and scary but totally lost its way with wrongdoing and bad dialogue.
I accept that I got scared, the film has good shots and a very scary atmosphere, but the film sadly fails at some times... It doesn't give something new or innovative to the genre, is just for fun.
.. for give some scares and laughs.. nothing more... that's it. 3/5.
