Review of The Future (2013) by Bank K — 23 Aug 2011
Miranda July's new film delivered a thought provoking and interesting dialog about the nature of long term relationships. Her use of the cat, Paw Paw, as a sort of narrator really worked, because it helped expand on the different perceptions of time that are experienced simultaneously by these characters in their various struggles.
I enjoyed the people, related to their issues and ultimately wanted to know more about their world - which is our world. We are all living in the age of instant access, and time does move differently depending on what you do with it!
I recommend "The Future" for anyone who enjoys thinking outside the box, outside the clock or outside the smartphone*!
