Review of The Fury (1978) by Don S — 16 Sep 2011
Not enough story to support two hours of movie, making the experience painfully slow. DePalma is usually good at building tension, but the script and acting here seemed to stifle him (which is probably his fault as the director).
The effects are decent for the time period. The main effect at the end is awesome, however you have to dredge through so much unneeded angst to get to it. A so-so effort from one of my favorite directors.
