I give it 4 stars just for how fucking ridiculous it is. The story is interesting, but the way its executed is so... beyond description. The result is a fucking mess. The characters are a joke, including the unbelievably silly Kirk Douglas as Peter Sandza.
The rest of the characters aren't much better, sporting some genuinely stupid actions and some weird line deliveries. However, the death scenes, the questionable things the characters do, and the overall amazement you feel while watching this movie is what makes it entertaining as hell.
