Review of The Fundamentals of Caring (2016) by Filip D — 08 Oct 2016
Definitely ok. It strives to be good and be playing on a redemptive theme, but the manner it aspires to achieve this falls short of a true good. The character of the "attractive girl" is terrible - are we supposed to like and praise that kind of person, and the way she makes the main character become more open? He certainly comes out of his cocoon, but not into a truly good state.
The moral is wicked, and the humour dislikeable.
