Review of The Fundamentals of Caring (2016) by Jon C — 25 Jun 2017
The first half isn't that good but the 2nd and 3rd is where the film starts to shine.
Really good actin from Rudd, Roberts, and Gomez in particular.
A man on the edge of divorce feels lost in his life until he takes a job caretaking a paralyzed teen; both of them feel like their lives are wasted because of personal tragedies.
But they take a road trip together to find out who actually needs fixing.
Good laughs, raw heartfelt moments, and a simple zest to get back into things.
