Tommy Lee Jones just sucks you in with his character's wit and audacity. Harrison also does a nice low-key job, and is believable as a doctor. I personally think he's underrated for this performance, but then again, I don't think Harrison Ford challenges himself enough in most of his rolls. So there's not much to compare it to.
I've seen this movie a billion times, so I guess this means I'm officially breaking my rule. I don't know why. But I am.
