(1993) The Fugitive.
ACTION/ SUSPENSE.
Unrelated to the television series of the same name or the 1947 film starring Henry Fonda which is from a novel written by Graham Greene, this film uses the name only in principle and nothing else! Plot has wife killed with all fingers pointing to husband (Harrison Ford) with Tommy Lee Jones assigned to the job in recapturing him, after escaping from a very near death experience regarding a train chosing to become a fugitive with it's goal to find the real killer!
Not my favorite Andrew Davis film since most of his films are action oriented, but the improvised dialogue exchanges between actor Ford and Jones are some of the most memorable- "I didn't kill my wife!"- Tommy Lee Jones responds "I don't care" which can sometimes overshadow the superfictial ending! Great ride and great long chase!
3 out of 4.
