I don't care what anybody says. "The Fugitive" is a masterpiece. It is a gripping, haunting, suspensful story about a man accused of murdering his wife, becomes an escaped convict on the run, while trying to find clues to his innocence.
I love these kind of themes and have seen them in other pictures. Real filmmakers never let these stories come to a holt, they let the audience care first about the character, while at the same time supplying intelligent action scenes.
"The Fugitive" is one hell of a movie.
