Review of The Fugitive (1993) by Guido S — 04 Sep 2013
Kind of hard to image this came out 20 years ago. Anyways, Harrison Ford is a doctor falsely accused of murdering his wife, while being transported to prison, a riot breaks out and the bus goes off the road.
Another inmate steals the keys and they are able to remove their shackles. Tommy Lee Jones comes in and begins a manhunt for him. The first half of the film is good, with lots of action and edge of the seat thrills.
Then the second half comes in and tries to explain how he was convicted. It just isn't believable all these years later and really takes away from an otherwise solid film. Still good, but has lost a bit of shine through the years.
