Review of The Frozen Ground (2013) by Dan A — 16 Dec 2014
True story or not, the film isn't really adding anything else to the serial killer genre. In fact, it's just treading the same old ground. We know who the killer is from the start, so as a result we're not really invested in the investigation because we know everything already. Nic Cage is just sort of there, John Cusack does quite well but he was pretty badly miscast in my opinion, Vanessa Hudgens over-acts and is annoying.
Shame.
