Review of The Front (1976) by Hugo F — 13 Feb 2008
Truly dramatic. An artistic inquisition, only about 50 years of age. Just a dark time, but the film is a monument to the sacrifice made by so many great artists and today we can appreciate how vulnerable so many actors, directors and writers became at the hands of the political machine.
I ask why we have war memorials and none to honor the struggles of our artists.
