Review of The Front (1976) by Roxanne L — 01 Jan 2008
Allen meets McCarthyism. Mostly a political drama without the usual emphasis on self-absorbed boy-meets-girl relationships that are Allen's bread-and-butter. Less of a comedy and more of a thought piece on an extraordinary set of circumstances.
Media-people might enjoy this as it touches on subjects related to that field such as privacy, human rights and democracy.
