Review of The Front (1976) by Marc R — 05 Apr 2008
1. A film that inexplicably fell through the cracks, maybe even more topical in modern-day America than it was in 1976.
2. Woody Allen artfully plays a comedic character in a non-comedic movie, which is probably what confused reviewers of the time.
3. A tightly written script captures a time, not so long ago, when writers and actors could not freely practice their craft.
4. "Take care of yourself. The water is full of sharks.".
