Review of The Frisco Kid (1979) by Craig M — 19 Apr 2008
In spite of some anachronisms and a rather odd conception of American geography. this is one of my favorite films. Tender, funny and touching. An understandably exasperated Harrison Ford(Tommy) and Gene Wilder(Avram) in his best part, ever.
- These two don't miss a beat! Some superb cameos by the Chief Rabbi in Poland and an incredibily atmospheric Indian - Chief who sounds like he was brought up on Shakespeare. Almost as many quotable lines as CASABLANCA.
What are you waiting for?! - Don't miss it.
