Review of The Frisco Kid (1979) by Phil V — 19 Oct 2008
Could have been written better (probably would have been amazing, if Gene had written it), but I gave it a high rating simply because of Gene Wilder's performance. He is just completely loveable as the Polish rabbi and plays the part with a depth that goes way beyond the writing.
I like Harrison Ford, but he was pretty ho-hum in this and his performance seemed a little forced. If you're a Gene Wilder fan, though, you should see this at least once.
